This is truly a gem. My wife and I are taking a road trip through Oregon, and we came across Pesco initially from Yelp. The food is absolutely wonderful, and this is one of those successful projects created by someone who is truly passionate about bringing delicious food to customers. If you come visiting the Gorge, don't miss out trying these wonderful Italian dishes prepared in such a unique setting.
Wow! The food here is amazing and some of the best Italian food I’ve had. We were visiting Hood River for a conference and came across this truck as we looked for a spot for dinner. It seems the menu rotates through different regions of Italy. We experienced Campania. We ordered the meatball appetizer, Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca and Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. All of the food was amazing. Definitely stopping here if we are ever back in Hood River. I’m willing to drive back the 1.5 hours to eat here again. The chef (I’m assuming owner) is very nice and eager for us to share how we liked their food… so to you, I say Delizioso!!

Just amazing. Innovative and authentic dishes, all made with love and attention, all with varied flavor profiles and textures. Have eaten here dozens of times, and have not once been anything but delighted. If Elizabeth has a vegetable stew or appetizer, or anything vegetarian, don't hesitate. I didn't think I could like zucchini in anything but zucchini bread, but her Tuscan stew proved me wrong. We've eaten at many restaurants all over the world, and I can tell you unequivocally this is the one Italian eatery we would pick over all others. Pesco sets the bar by which we measure all Italian food now.
The pasta was absolutely delicious — possibly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. We tried the mushroom pasta and the pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs, and both were incredible. I would definitely recommend stopping by and giving it a try if you're in the area. My only suggestion would be the location. Hood River is such a beautiful town, and I think this food truck would be even more successful closer to the waterfront. That said, it's absolutely worth the visit no matter where it's located. Highly recommended!
Spectacular! We stopped here after a hike and were so glad we did. We had the zucchini pasta, focaccia bread, and tiramisu. And there was a red sauce that was insanely good!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I've been here +6 times and always order something different and always get delicious and savory food. A rotating menu inspired by different regions of Italy with an emphasis on providing quality meals every time. Oh AND it's all homemade!!!
Must stop if you're in the area!! Best pasta I've had in a longggg time. Stayed nearby for one night on a road trip and wanted to try something new for dinner. Such a great experience, she was so friendly and let us try before we decided. Loved to hear her passion behind the food and loved the food even more!! New dishes each month so try it all and get your favorite. Will for sure stop here anytime we are in town. Also not pictured is the tiramisu, it was too yummy to even think about my phone.
Such a great find! The owner is super nice and actually went out of their way to accommodate my pasta preference, which I really appreciated. The sauce was delicious, the food came out really fast, and everything tasted amazing. Definitely recommend checking them out!
This was some of the best pasta I've ever had! We came late in the day on a holiday weekend so we weren't surprised that she was almost sold out. We had a simple pasta with red sauce and it was literally amazing. Our toddler started solids while we were traveling in Italy for a month so he is very particular about Italian food and he ate a full adult serving of this pasta! We will be back 🍝
